There is just under one month left to enter the Nature Photo competition being run by the Climate Change team at Wealden District Council on https://letstalk.wealden.gov.uk/nature-photo-competition.

They say:

We have already had a number of excellent entries but want as many members of the community to get involved as possible!

Competition details:

  • Adult Category (18 and over)
    • Theme: Changing Seasons of Wealden
    • A photo that captures the beauty and transformation of Wealden’s landscapes through the seasons.
  • Youth Category (Ages 4–17)
    • Theme: Wildlife and Nature in Wealden
    • A photo that showcases local animals or plant life in their natural setting. Entries are divided into ages 4-11 and 12-17.
  • Prizes – winners will receive an annual membership to Sussex Wildlife Trust and a professionally framed copy of their photo. Runners up will receive a £25 Sussex Wildlife Trust voucher.
  • Each entrant may submit one photo
  • Parents, carers, or teachers may submit multiple entries on behalf of different children
  • Photos can be taken on any device
  • Upload entries on the entry page on our Let’s Talk Wealden Climate Change webpage: https://letstalk.wealden.gov.uk/nature-photo-competition
  • Competition closes: Friday 12th December

The competition can be promoted by:

  • Sharing competition information on organisation social media channels – you can reshare posts from our Facebook page: 'Climate Change Wealden'
  • Including the competition details and deadline in email bulletins, websites and meetings
  • Displaying the printable leaflet (file attached) on noticeboards
